The Conference on High Quality Development of Industry and Private Economy in Ordos City was held, aiming to thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the central and autonomous region party committees and governments, conscientiously implement the spirit of the conference on high-quality development of industrial economy in the whole region, and arrange and deploy key work for the high-quality development of industrial economy and private economy in the current and future periods.

Li Li, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized the need to adhere to technological innovation as the fundamental driving force, highlight the innovative subject status of enterprises, deeply implement the “Three Clearances and Zero” action plan for enterprises above designated size and the “Double Increase” plan for technology-based enterprises, accelerate the digital transformation of industries, vigorously implement intelligent manufacturing projects, and enable more technological innovation achievements to blossom and bear fruit in Ordos. He pointed out that the large number of enterprises and entrepreneurs is an irreplaceable and valuable asset for Ordos’s development. They have played a “pillar” role in the economic and social development of Ordos and made important contributions to creating a happy life for the people. He hopes that the vast number of enterprises will regard abiding by the law and integrity as the foundation of their livelihood, strictly implement their main responsibility for safety production, actively participate in the high-quality development of the city’s industrial economy, be dedicated, focused, and professional, and make new and greater contributions to achieving the “Five Ordos” goals.

During the meeting, Mayor Du Huiliang of the Municipal People’s Government emphasized the need to improve positioning and coordinate efforts, fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development concept, adhere to the unwavering commitment to green and low-carbon transformation and development, optimize and strengthen the industrial economy, cultivate and strengthen private enterprises, and continuously enhance the development strength of industry and private economy. To focus on improving quality and efficiency, with stable operation as the foundation, chain extension as the key, strong technological innovation as the support, and promoting small and micro enterprises as the guarantee, precise policies and systematic efforts should be made to create a high-quality development and upgraded version of the city’s industrial economy.
