Wanwei Company Officially Launches Its 2026 “Work Safety Month” Campaign

June 2026 marks the 25th National “Work Safety Month,” with the theme “Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Identifying and Addressing Risks and Hazards.” To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses and directives on work safety, and to strictly enforce the relevant work arrangements of the State Council, provincial, and municipal Work Safety Committees, the Group Company is closely following the annual Work Safety Month activity plan. With “Identifying and Addressing Risks and Hazards” as the central theme, the company is steadily advancing a series of safety-themed activities in a phased, multi-level, and comprehensive manner to effectively strengthen the foundation of work safety within the enterprise.

During the campaign, the company has divided the Work Safety Month into four specialized phases: safety publicity, training and education, concentrated identification of risks and hidden dangers, and emergency response enhancement, to progressively improve the quality and efficiency of safety management.

Currently, all units are implementing multiple measures to foster a strong safety culture. Through the display of promotional banners, thematic posters, rotating thematic display boards, and safety warning videos—combined with safety pledges and commitment signings during pre-shift and dispatch meetings—the company is guiding all employees to fortify their safety awareness and reinforce their job-specific safety responsibilities. At the same time, specialized safety production training is conducted regularly to thoroughly disseminate key safety policies, laws and regulations, and hazard identification standards, thereby enhancing all employees’ ability to fulfill their safety duties and identify potential hazards.

Focusing on the three-year campaign to tackle root causes, the company draws lessons from typical accidents to organize comprehensive self-inspections and corrective actions among all staff. Industry experts are invited to provide on-site guidance to accurately identify and mitigate various safety risks. Furthermore, the company promotes learning through competitions and prepares for emergencies through drills. By organizing safety-themed creative contests, emergency equipment donning competitions and realistic emergency drills, the company aims to comprehensively enhance employees’ emergency response and collaborative self-rescue capabilities.

Moving forward, the company will continue to align with higher-level work arrangements on work safety, further deepen safety education and awareness, rigorously implement hazard identification and rectification, and strengthen emergency response capabilities. We will institutionalize enforcement of work safety responsibilities across the entire workforce, foster a strong culture where “everyone prioritizes safety and everyone is prepared for emergencies,” firmly uphold the bottom line of work safety, and build a solid safety barrier to support the company’s stable, high-quality development.
