PVA 1492 Application
PVA 1492 is a polyvinyl alcohol product with intermediate viscosity and hydrolysis, which has excellent surface activity, mild formula compatibility and reliable biocompatibility. It is widely used in pharmaceutical film materials, pharmaceutical external substrates, high-precision textile sizes and efficient lotion polymerization systems.
Used for medical film
It is a high-quality raw material for manufacturing pharmaceutical water-soluble films. It maintains excellent physical stability under different storage conditions, does not react with active pharmaceutical ingredients, and ensures the safety, hygiene, and consistent performance of oral pharmaceutical film formulations.
It serves as an ideal outer coating and substrate for drug formulations, with uniform film-forming ability and good drug surface adhesion. It forms a protective coating that isolates moisture, dust, and external pollutants, effectively extending the drug’s shelf life. This material is non-toxic, non-irritating, meets drug-grade safety standards, and is suitable for various drug extracellular matrix applications.
Used for textile industry
It is a type suitable for textile pulp. It forms a thin, uniform, and flexible protective film on the surface of the yarn, effectively improving the tensile strength, wear resistance, and weaving stability of the yarn.
Used for emulsifier
It has excellent surface activity and stability, and is an efficient emulsifier and protective colloid for various water-based lotion systems. It can effectively reduce interfacial tension, evenly disperse monomer particles and prevent lotion from caking, flocculation and stratification during polymerization and long-term storage. It significantly improves the stability, fineness and storage durability of the lotion system and enhances the flexibility and uniformity of the dried lotion film.
