Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a core functional ingredient in the facial mask industry due to its excellent film-forming properties, water solubility, moisturizing properties and biocompatibility. It is mainly used for molding the mask sheet substrate and thickening and moisturizing the essence, and is especially suitable for peel-off masks and gel masks, which can improve the mask’s adherence to the skin, essence carrying capacity and user experience.
