PVA 100-08 Application
PVA 100-08 is a low-viscosity, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol with high purity, excellent flowability, uniform film-forming properties, and excellent water solubility. It is widely used in lotion polymerization, textile sizing, papermaking, adhesives, coatings, fine chemicals, and other industries.
Used for emulsifiers and protective colloids
PVA 100-08 is an effective protective colloid and stabilizer for PVAC, acrylic acid, and composite lotion polymerization systems. Low viscosity, excellent dispersion performance, evenly wrapping monomer droplets, effectively preventing condensation, stratification, and precipitation during reaction and storage, improving the toughness, water resistance, and film formation uniformity of the finished lotion.
Used for paper industry
PVA 100-08 is widely used as a surface sizing agent and coating adhesive for paper. It forms a uniform and dense protective film on the surface of the paper, improving its surface strength, smoothness, and ink absorption uniformity. It effectively reduces hair and powder shedding, significantly improving the printing clarity and overall surface treatment quality of cultural paper and copperplate paper.
Used for textile wrap sizing
It forms a thin, smooth, and flexible protective film on the surface of the yarn to enhance its strength and weaving stability. It has balanced permeability and easy desizing properties, leaving no residual substances, ensuring no adverse effects on subsequent dyeing and finishing. It can also be used as a textile finishing aid to improve the flatness and dimensional stability of fabrics.
Used for water-based adhesive
It is a high-purity adhesive material suitable for preparing general water-based adhesives, stationery adhesives, and composite adhesives. It provides stable adhesive strength and good leveling performance, forming a transparent, flexible, and aging-resistant adhesive layer for paper, fiber, and lightweight bonding scenarios.
