PVA 1099 Application
PVA 1099 is a low-viscosity, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol grade with stable molecular distribution, excellent water solubility and outstanding interfacial activity. It features uniform dispersion performance and moderate protective colloid capacity, specially optimized for suspension polymerization systems. With stable viscosity and excellent particle-regulation ability, it serves as a functional binder and film-forming agent for multiple coating systems.
Used for banknote coating
PVA 1099 is an important functional raw material for banknote surface coating. It forms a thin, uniform, tough, and wear-resistant protective film on the banknote paper. It enhances surface strength, improves folding resistance and wear resistance during long-term cycling. It optimizes ink adhesion and printing fidelity, effectively preventing surface shedding and meeting the strict requirements for durability and fine printing of special anti-counterfeiting paper such as banknotes.
Used for metal material coating
Used as an adhesive and auxiliary film-forming additive for water-based metal surface coatings. PVA 1099 exhibits good adhesion on metal substrates. It forms a continuous and compact barrier film, isolating air and moisture, providing temporary rust and corrosion prevention effects for metals. It improves the coating’s leveling performance, enhances coating density and surface smoothness, and can be matched with other water-based coatings for metal pretreatment protective coatings and temporary anti-rust coatings.
