PVA 2099 Application
Used for textile industry
PVA 2099 serves as a premium warp sizing agent. It creates compact, rigid and abrasion-resistant protective coatings on yarn surfaces, which drastically cut yarn breakage, lint fly and friction loss during high-speed weaving. Featuring moderate permeability and easy desizing, it leaves no rigid residual film and has no negative impact on downstream textile finishing and dyeing processes.
Additionally, it serves as a textile-finishing auxiliary. It boosts fabric stiffness, surface smoothness and dimensional stability; optimizes internal fiber arrangement; elevates wrinkle resistance and shaping performance; and delivers a consistent, silky hand feel to finished textiles.
Used for paper industry
Acting as a high-efficiency surface sizing agent for multiple paper grades, PVA 2099 forms continuous, compact and water-resistant barrier films on paper surfaces. It greatly upgrades paper surface strength, rigidity and air impermeability, as well as water and abrasion resistance. For cultural paper, packaging paper and coated paper, it delivers sharper printing definition, uniform ink absorption and superior overall surface finishing quality.
Owing to outstanding film toughness and robust bonding capacity, it is also an ideal feedstock for eco-friendly waterborne paper adhesives. It delivers long-lasting stable adhesion for paper lamination, carton bonding, paperboard composite and all paper packaging goods. The fully cured adhesive layer features high transparency, flexible texture and outstanding anti-aging performance, securing permanent bonding stability for paper products.
