PVA 100-50 is a high-viscosity, fully hydrolyzed grade of polyvinyl alcohol. It features a high molecular weight, exceptional adhesion, rigid film-forming properties, excellent tensile strength, and outstanding water resistance. With stable physical and chemical properties, it is widely used in high-strength adhesives, premium coatings, textile sizing agents, high-grade paper manufacturing, emulsion polymerization, and the building materials industry.
Used For High-Strength Water-Based Adhesives
PVA 100-50 serves as a key raw material for high-viscosity, high-strength water-based adhesives. Its polymer structure provides powerful thickening properties, excellent initial tack, and high final bond strength. It forms a rigid, transparent, and tough adhesive film with outstanding water resistance and aging resistance. It is ideally suited for heavy-duty paper composites, packaging adhesives, wood bonding, and high-strength structural water-based adhesive systems.

Used For Emulsifiers and Protective Colloids
It serves as a highly stable protective colloid and emulsifier for PVAC, acrylic, and composite emulsion polymerization systems. It uniformly coats monomer particles to prevent coagulation, stratification, and precipitation during reaction and storage. It stabilizes the uniformity of emulsion systems and improves the toughness, water resistance, and weather resistance of dried emulsion films.
