PVA 094-13 Application
PVA 094-13 is a partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol with moderate viscosity. It balances strong adhesion, flexible film-forming ability, and stable surface activity, and is widely used in the following industries:
Used for adhesive
It provides stable initial adhesion and final bonding strength, forming a flexible, aging-resistant adhesive film suitable for long-term bonding of wood, paper, cardboard, and other porous materials.
Used for textile warp sizing
It forms a smooth and wear-resistant protective film on the surface of the yarn to improve tensile strength and reduce breakage during high-speed weaving. Its characteristics are moderate permeability, easy desizing, and no interference with subsequent dyeing and printing.
Used for PVAC lotion protective colloid
As an efficient stabilizer and protective colloid in vinyl acetate lotion polymerization, it evenly wraps the monomer particles to avoid condensation, stratification, and precipitation; stabilizes the viscosity of the lotion; and enhances the flexibility, water resistance, and weather resistance of the cured lotion film.
Used for thermosetting resin modifier
Enhance flexibility and reduce the brittleness of cured phenolic resin and urea formaldehyde resin. It accelerates proper curing, improves adhesive strength and weather resistance, reduces free formaldehyde content, and achieves low-carbon resin formulation.
Used for industrial dispersant
Provides excellent surface activity to uniformly disperse inorganic pigments, fillers, and fine industrial powders. It can prevent particle agglomeration and precipitation, and improve the suspension stability of coatings, ceramics, and chemical powder systems.
Used for paint and adhesive additives
Used as a thickener and film-forming agent for various water-based coatings and adhesives. It improves the coating leveling, settling resistance, surface hardness, and long-term storage stability of water-based adhesives.
