PVA 1792 Application
PVA 1792 is a PVA with moderate viscosity and hydrolysis degree, mainly used in the following areas:
Used for textile Industry Applications
PVA 1792 is a high-performance warp sizing agent used in textile production. It forms a dense, tough, and wear-resistant protective film on the surface of the yarn, significantly reducing losses such as yarn breakage and friction throughout the high-speed weaving process. It has moderate permeability and good desizing performance, without leaving a hard residual film on the fibers, and will not adversely affect subsequent textile finishing and dyeing processes.
In addition to warp sizing, it can also be used as a textile finishing aid.
In addition to warp sizing, it can also be used as a textile finishing aid.
Used for paper industry
As an efficient surface sizing agent suitable for various types of paper, PVA 2099 constructs a continuous, dense, and waterproof barrier layer on the surface of the paper. It greatly improves the surface strength, stiffness, and airtightness of paper, while enhancing water resistance and wear resistance.
Used for emulsifiers and protective colloids
PVA1792 can evenly wrap dispersed monomer particles and effectively inhibit the coagulation, flocculation, stratification and precipitation of particles during lotion polymerization and long-term storage. It stabilizes the viscosity and system uniformity of lotion and significantly improves the flexibility, water resistance and weather resistance of dry lotion film.
Used for thermosetting resin modifier
PVA 1792 is an excellent modification additive for thermosetting resins such as phenolic resins and urea formaldehyde resins. It effectively improves the flexibility and ductility of the cured resin, reduces the risk of brittleness and cracking, and optimizes the curing speed and formability. At the same time, it improves the bonding strength, weather resistance, and structural stability of modified resins, reduces the content of free formaldehyde, and supports the development of low-carbon and environmentally sustainable resin formulations.
Used for high performance coatings and adhesives
PVA 1792 is a core functional additive for water-based industrial coatings and environmentally friendly adhesives. It has significant thickening, leveling, anti-settling, and film-forming effects, greatly improving the ease of coating application, surface smoothness and hardness, as well as the water resistance and outdoor weather resistance of the finished coating. When applied in adhesive formulations, it significantly improves the cohesive strength, transparency, and long-term storage stability of water-based adhesives.
