PVA 1788 Application
Adapting to the demand scenarios of multiple industries such as textiles, coatings, and papermaking, the following are its core application areas and specific usage scenarios:
PVA1788 Used For Textile Industry
PVA1788 is a key additive for textile pretreatment, suitable for various types of yarns, including cotton, linen, and synthetic fibers. Its core is used for warp sizing: forming a flexible, wear-resistant film on the yarn surface to protect it from wear and breakage during weaving and to improve weaving efficiency. It is easy to remove the paste after film formation, and there will be no residual impurities that affect the subsequent dyeing and printing processes. At the same time, it can also be used as a paste for textile printing, to mix printing pigments, and improve pigment leveling and pattern clarity.
PVA1788 Used For Paper Industry
PVA 1788 serves as a surface and internal sizing agent for papermaking processing.
Surface coating: Coating on the surface of paper to form a dense film, improving the surface strength, water resistance, smoothness, and stiffness of the paper, reducing paper shedding and powder, and suitable for the production of writing paper, office paper, and packaging paper.
Internal gluing: added to pulp to enhance the bonding force between paper fibers, improve the physical strength of paper, and make it more durable and less prone to damage.
At the same time, it can also be used as a bonding agent for papermaking and in the production of special paper and cardboard to enhance interlayer adhesion.
PVA1788 Used For Adhesive Industry
It is the basic raw material for the production of various water-based adhesives, which can be made into PVA glue alone, or mixed with borax, starch, vinyl acetate, etc., as the main component to produce white latex, polyvinyl acetate lotion (PVAc), urea formaldehyde adhesive, phenolic adhesive, etc.
Universal PVA adhesive: directly used for bonding paper, wood, and fabrics, suitable for manual and small-scale processing scenarios.
Compound adhesive: Borax-PVA adhesive made by compounding borax, which enhances bonding strength and water resistance; as a raw material for white latex, it improves adhesion and stability, and is suitable for applications such as wood processing, paper bonding, packaging, and sealing.
