PVA 0388 Application
PVA 0388 is a low polymerization degree polyvinyl alcohol, which has the characteristics of being highly soluble in cold water, fast dissolution rate, low viscosity, good flowability, easy degradation, and excellent film-forming flexibility (thin and soft film, but lower bonding strength and water resistance than high polymerization degree PVA). Mainly used in scenarios that require rapid dissolution, low viscosity, and easy degradation.
PVA 0388 Used For Paper Industry
In the paper industry, PVA0388 is used as a surface and internal sizing agent for low-grade paper and household paper. As a surface sizing agent, it is applied to the surfaces of products such as toilet paper, napkins, and regular writing paper, slightly improving surface smoothness and water resistance, reducing hair loss and powdering, and improving the usability of the paper.
As an internal sizing agent, it is added to the pulp of low-grade cultural paper and packaging paper, thereby enhancing the bonding force between paper fibers, improving the toughness of the paper, and reducing breakage during papermaking and use.
