PVA 2699 Application
PVA 2699 is a high viscosity, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol grade. It has extremely strong adhesion, high molecular weight, and stable mechanical properties. It is specifically developed for high viscosity adhesive systems and high-end building and industrial coating applications.
Used for high viscosity adhesive
It is the core functional raw material for manufacturing high-strength and high-viscosity water-based adhesives. Its ultra-high molecular weight provides excellent thickening effect, extraordinary initial viscosity, and final bonding strength for adhesive systems. It forms a tough, transparent, and waterproof adhesive layer, providing stable bonding performance on wood, paper, fabrics, and various porous substrates. Widely used in composite adhesives, structural water-based adhesives, and high viscosity industrial bonding solutions.
Used for high grade paint
As a high-quality additive for architectural and industrial coatings, PVA 2699 has excellent thickening, leveling, and film-forming properties. It effectively improves coating uniformity, suspension stability, and surface smoothness, preventing pigment settling and coating delamination. After film formation, it improves the coating’s hardness, wear resistance, water resistance, and weather resistance, significantly enhancing the surface smoothness and overall performance of high-end coating products.
